The eleventh edition of the Pan African Music Festival (FESPAM) will take place from July 8 to 15, 2017 in Brazzaville under the theme “Music and Environment in Africa and in the diaspora.”

Now as the effects of climate change become more and more visible, instruments makers, musicians, professionals of music domains, musicals, musicologists, biologists and physicians are invited to mobilize to support the fight against climate change by attending the 11th symposium of African music which will take place in July from 10 to 13, 2017.

The issue of the 11th edition of FESPAM is to find out responses to the following main questions: in which state current generations would to bequeath our planet to the younger generations? Should the African musical community, some-how responsible of the destruction of the biodiversity, leave the battle of reduction of worm on the earth’s crust but to the politicians? What can the African musical community do to protect the environment and thus, take part to the rescue of human life on earth?

The summary of communication proposals on one of the above-mentioned sub-themes are awaited at the General Commissioner of FESPAM latest on March 26, 2017. They should be posted on scientifiquefespam[a]gmail.com
